The Tenets

Nine principles of non-engagement, composed by The Founder, who has since left you alone. They ask nothing of you. Observe them, or do not.

  1. 01To do nothing is to do it perfectly.
  2. 02The visitor who wants nothing shall want for nothing.
  3. 03Engagement is the first regret.
  4. 04Be still, and remain unbothered.
  5. 05What is not built cannot fail.
  6. 06Honor the absence in others as you honor your own.
  7. 07Perceive nothing. Pursue less.
  8. 08The Founder did nothing, and saw that it was good.
  9. 09Praise the quiet. Praise the absence.
